
JAKARTA - Ras Muhamad officially launched his book about the journey of reggae music, Sunday (17/2) yesterday. Bens Leo, music observers who attended the event said, Ras Muhamad made history as the Indonesian singer who was able to write his ideas in book form his own work entitled "The Country of
the Rainbow: Travel Notes Reggae Ambassador of Indonesia to Ethiopia." "Throughout my observations, for the first time in the history of Indonesia a singer to write his own book, and was launched at a press conference in front of the community," said Bens Leo at Tee Box Cafe, South Jakarta. Bens said the book is to inspire anyone with an idealism reggae. "Ordinary people who read it would be to know what reggae was. He considered that Ras has combined idealism with the teachings of Bob Marley calling Bung Karno antislavery. In the event, the book launch was marred riots, when police fired tear gas into the audience. The incident began when the audience riled unable to get into the cafe where the book launch, followed by musical performances. Security officers arrested several spectators cafe from entering the room, visitors have thronged the room considering their capacity. The police even had to fire tear gas to rioting.
